New Fire Station Going Up On Time & On Budget in Albany

ALBANY, Ore. – A new $10 million fire station is going up downtown, paid for by a voter-approved bond measure.

While it’s just nuts and bolts and planks and screws for now, in four months this will be the new Station 11 and administrative headquarters for the Albany Fire Department.

Fire Chief John Bradner said the 2015 bond measure allowed the department to retire the old Station 11 after 67 years.
